Woodcrest Term 4 DIG Retro

Last December, right before Woodcrest State College headed into their summer break, we sat down with teachers and administrators from their primary school to listen to what they learned through their experiments of bringing the DIG framework into their classrooms.

Two experiments were highlighted, one with their preps (kindergartners) and another that brought first and seventh graders together for a joint DIG, where the older students supported the learning of the younger ones.

Both experiments were filled with surprise and delight, leading the staff to wonder about their next experiments when they returned back from their holidays.

Here is our session, which was joined by Dr. David Turner, the Director of Professional Learning at the Queensland Association of State School Principals (QASSP).
