Dennis is an active community leader in the city of Westerville Ohio.  He has been involved for decades in multiple non-profits, community organizations, and city boards and commissions including being elected to City Council.  Dennis has been an active supporter of Westerville City Schools in many ways, being honored in 2016 as the city’s STEMstar by COSI (Center Of Science and Industry) and then given the G.E.M. Award (General Educator Mentor) in 2017.

Dennis acts as Treasurer for Catalyst Learning Labs, and finds himself thrilled not just at seeing students engaging in the DiG process, but finding self-fulfillment as being someone who enjoys learning.
